Bio
Short — for playlists, captions, programmes
Rabiham is an artist, writer and producer based in Conakry, Guinea, moving between spoken word, rap and atmospheric cloud rap under his label, Down to Earth Altitude. His music makes sense of the messier side of life — introspective, vulnerable and raw, always searching for the light even in the darkest of caves. He is currently completing his debut five-track EP.
Long — for press, blogs, interviews
Rabiham started writing rhymes as a teenager, trading verses with friends and shaped early by the French rap of Sexion d'Assaut. Then life asked for other things, and the pen went quiet for years — though the music never left his ears. In 2017, Kendrick Lamar's "The Blacker the Berry" reawakened the writer in him: an artist invested in a cause bigger than himself. The return was slow and honest — first recordings that were, in his own words, a pure mess of rhymes, compression and radio effects — until a point came where he couldn't deny his love for the craft anymore. Writing lyrics had become his favourite way of processing life.
He records as Rabiham under Down to Earth Altitude, a label name that carries his philosophy whole: regardless of the height we reach in life, we are still human beings walking on this Earth seen from space — a fusion of the highest of heights with the most grounding of truths. The music values authenticity over show, the ugly truth over the beautiful lie, and looks into the soul of people rather than at what they portray. The sound moves between raw spoken word and rap on one side, and reverb-drenched, melancholic cloud rap on the other, with a cinematic sense of mise-en-scène running through both. Underneath it all is one recurring arc: the belief that at the end of everything, pleasant or traumatic, an opportunity is patiently waiting — a treasure to be found, one that offers profound transformation.
After a run of singles — each one an experiment in lyrics, flows, production and mood — Rabiham is now completing his debut five-track EP: minimalist production, raw lyrics first. An early single, "The Hero's Journey," quietly gathered over 14,000 streams on Spotify on the strength of its mood and words alone. He documents the becoming as it happens in the journal on this site, and takes on full-production commissions for clients remotely.

Work with me
Full production, written to your story — lyrics, vocals and the finished record, delivered remotely. Whether it calls for raw spoken word, rap or a softer, atmospheric mood, the approach is the same: authenticity over show. Revisions are welcomed; the song isn't done until it's true.
Projects grounded in respect only — work involving insults, discrimination or toxicity isn't taken on. I have values and principles, and they are my filter.
